New Zealand IGQ International Golf Academy (referred to as IGQ) is a specialized golf school approved by the New Zealand Ministry of Education and the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA), and certified by the Chinese Embassy in New Zealand.

IGQ is situated within the CORINGA Golf Course and boasts excellent educational facilities. The academy has an experienced team of PGA certified coaches and complete training venues and facilities, including unlimited access to the driving range, putting greens and main teaching golf courses. It has also established a scientific and systematic teaching framework and professional testing and evaluation systems to deliver all round support for students’ learning and training.

Upholding the educational philosophy of cultivating high level golf athletes and coaches, the academy integrates academic education with vocational education and tailors personalized study plans for each student. It adopts small class teaching and one on one tutoring, and implements the teaching approach of "competition oriented practice", enabling students to consolidate their foundations and improve their skills through real world practice, so that they can truly gain knowledge and develop their strengths.

Programs offered by the academy include the Diploma in Recreational Sports (Golf Stream) (NZQA Level 5), golf training courses, as well as cooperative programs with NZPGA and local schools to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

Upon graduation, IGQ students will receive the New Zealand National Level 5 Diploma (NZQA LEVEL5), which is eligible for academic credential verification by the Ministry of Education of China. Graduates may pursue further academic studies at home and abroad. In partnership with NZPGA, IGQ offers the PGA Preparatory Program. It also runs junior golf talent programs in cooperation with key local secondary schools, laying a solid foundation for students’ academic advancement and career development and providing diversified development pathways and options.

IGQ welcomes students from many countries across the world and has produced numerous outstanding graduates. The academy has successfully carried out Sino foreign cooperative education programs with multiple Chinese universities. It also serves as an overseas golf practice training base and faculty development institution for many Chinese universities, building a bridge for golf education exchanges between China and foreign countries.
